BAMT-107 Christian Leadership and Ethics

This course explores the foundations of Christian leadership through the lens of biblical principles, ethical integrity, and servant-hearted ministry. What will i learn??

  • Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Articulate a Biblical Foundation for Leadership — Identify and explain key biblical principles, models, and examples of leadership found in Scripture, and apply them to contemporary leadership contexts. 2. Integrate Christian Faith with Ethical Decision-Making — Develop a personal ethical framework rooted in Christian values and demonstrate how faith informs moral reasoning and professional conduct. 3. Analyze Major Ethical Theories — Compare and evaluate classical and contemporary ethical theories (e.g., deontology, virtue ethics, utilitarianism) in light of a Christian worldview. 4. Demonstrate Servant Leadership Principles — Describe the characteristics of servant leadership as modeled by Jesus Christ and apply these principles to organizational and ministry settings. 5. Evaluate Ethical Dilemmas in Professional Contexts — Assess real-world ethical challenges in business, ministry, and community settings using a biblically grounded decision-making process. 6. Develop Personal Leadership Character — Reflect on personal strengths, values, and areas of growth to construct a Christ-centered leadership philosophy and plan for ongoing character development. 7. Apply Christian Ethics to Organizational Culture — Examine how Christian ethical values shape organizational culture, team dynamics, and stakeholder relationships in both church and marketplace environments. 8.
